2002-2006 Acura RSX Megan Racing Street Series Coilover Damper Kit
Megan Racing street series coil-over dampers are the ultimate upgrade to your track or street car. With separate spring perch height and shock length adjustment, as well as 32 levels of damper force adjustment, you are able to retain full suspension stroke and fine tune your suspension characteristics.
The single damper adjustment knob which is built-in at the top of the damper allows for easy adjustability to compression and rebound settings with easy access. Whether your mechanical skills are that of a professional certified mechanic or that of an automotive enthusiast with amateur skills, adjustments to these coil-overs are simple to tune according to your driving style and desired comfort level. All of our dampers are capable of handling a +2kg/mm or -2kg/mm change in spring rates to further tune your suspension to your desired handling characteristics.
Height adjustments are made with separate CNC machined locking spring perches for smooth and accurate adjustment with a separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allow for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustments allows you to make adjustments from an aggressive stance with a more aggressive ride height, to a fine tuned suspension system which uses the full potential of your vehicle’s handling capabilities.
On applications utilizing strut-type suspension designs, the Megan Racing damper kits come with upper pillow-ball mount camber plates which are adjustable and allow you to easily tune your camber. This enables you to adjust your cars ride height and still adjust the camber to improve handling, vehicle predictability and tire wear, a nice feature for any situation, whether it is on the track or on the street. This improved level of adjustability will give you a competitive edge over other suspension setups.
The quality and durability of Megan Racing damper kits are unmatched. Our springs are constructed of SAE-9254 cold-wound steel which are then tested over 500,000 times by a compression inspection. Our shock absorbers are constructed from highly durable steel. Both of these methods of construction give our product a deformation rate of less than 5%, and our sophisticated surface coating which adds to the strength of our damper kits gives us the confidence to stand by our product with our strong warranty.

Not all applications include camber kits.
Due to customers that have reported issues with the straight arm lower brackets that track their vehicle, the straight angle does not work properly and we have re-designed them with angled arm to get the perfect steering alignment. The brackets included with the kits are currently angled upwards, similar to OEM equipment but at a lower angle. Also, the taper for the steering tie rod ends are reversed to allow the tie rod end to be inserted from the bottom instead of the top as is done so with the OEM equipment. This is done to keep the angle of the tie rod arm to match the lower control arm angle to minimize bump-steer that is encountered when the deviation between the tie rod arm angle and the lower control arm angle are too great.
