These engine mounts are made of a hardened rubber developed by Megan Racing to replace the stock soft rubber engine mounts. The OEM rubber mounts wear and deteriorate over time from the constant flexing and vibration your car experiences, as well as any harsh weather conditions. This can cause the stock rubber mounts to tear and may seriously damage your engine and transmission. Additionally, these hardened rubber replacement mounts enable more energy to be transferred into the wheels, rather than being absorbed by the stock soft rubber.
